📌 Important Guidelines Before Submission

📝 How to Participate

• Write your original story (300–500 words) in English.
• submit it on the Woodpecker Books website between 31st Oct – 8th Nov 2025.
• Wait for your confirmation email.
• Come back on 10th Nov at 6 P.M. to view and vote for your favourite entries!

🖋️ Story Guidelines

• Language: English only.
• Word Limit: 300–500 words.
• Title: Each entry must include a story title.
• Genre/Theme: Open – write what inspires you!
• Original Work: The story must be written solely by the child (no AI-generated or adult-assisted content).
• Parental Role: Parents are requested not to assist in writing the story.
• Content Policy: Entries containing political or sensitive content will not be accepted.

📤 Submission Rules

• Once submitted, entries cannot be edited or withdrawn.
• Participants will receive a confirmation email after successful submission.
• The jury’s decision will be final.
• Final results will be based on a combination of jury evaluation and public voting.
• Woodpecker Books reserves the right to reject or remove any entry violating the above rules or using AI-generated content.

🎁 Prizes

• 1 winner per age group.
• Winners will receive exclusive goodies and certificates from Woodpecker Books and our gifting partner Bargain Book Hut.
• Winning stories will be featured on the Woodpecker Books website and in our newsletter.
• All participants will receive digital certificates.
