Shipping Policy

We are committed to delivering your order accurately, in good condition, and always on time. Please note our shipping policy as detailed below:

We currently deliver to major cities across India. Type your Pin Code to check our delivery service availability.

Please check whether we deliver to your PIN Code before making your payment.You will get a message as follows “We ship to the pin code XXXXXX” or “We regret that we don’t ship to the pin code XXXXXXX”

Please note that we may not be able to cover all the PIN codes in India as on date, but we are trying our best to add as many PIN codes as and when we are able to service those locations. If your area is not serviceable by  us, you may choose a different PINcode location from the drop-down, where we are able to service as of today. You may contact our Customer care for more details.

 

  1. Currently, each order may be shipped only to a single destination address. If you wish to ship to different addresses, you will need to place multiple orders.
  2. We make our best efforts to ship each order within 4-7 working days. However, in some cases, it may take longer, up to 9 working days, to ship the order as we may have to procure a particular item from some other stores or our suppliers. In the unlikely event that we are not able to ship your order completely within 6 days of the order, we shall inform you as per your instructions, either ship it later when we can or cancel the remaining unshipped part of the order, and also send you an email, informing you about the same. In such cases, your payment against the unshipped part of the order shall be refunded, in the manner in which you have made the payment.
  3. We ship on all weekdays (Monday to Saturday), excluding public holidays.
  4. Typically all Mumbai deliveries are completed within 3-5 days post shipment and outside Mumbai, deliveries are completed within 4-7 days post shipment, excluding the date of shipping. International orders may take an additional 3-4 weeks to deliver when we start catering to overseas orders. The delivery time is mentioned on the product details page of every book and we shall endeavour to ship all books in your order together, this may not always be possible due to book characteristics, or availability.
  5. If you believe that the book/s is not in a good condition, or if the packaging is tampered with or damaged, before accepting delivery of the book/s, please refuse to take delivery of the package, and mail us at sales@woodpeckerbookspublishing.com , mentioning your order reference number. We shall make our best efforts to ensure that a replacement delivery is made to you at the earliest.
  6. You may track the shipping status of your order on our website, by clicking on the Link sent to you when your order is shipped.
  7. There might be some logistic challenges in which there may be a further delay to your shipment delivery.

Pricing Information

Woodpecker Books ensures to provide accurate book and pricing information; however, pricing or typographical errors may occur. We cannot confirm the price of a book until after you order. In the event that a book is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to an error in pricing or book information, Woodpecker Books shall have the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse or cancel any orders placed for that book unless the book has already been dispatched. If a book is mispriced, Woodpecker Books may, at its discretion, either contact you for instructions or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation. Unless the book ordered by you has been dispatched, your offer will not be deemed accepted, and Woodpecker Books will have the right to modify the price of the book and contact you for further instructions or cancel the order and notify you of such cancellation.

Cancellation by Woodpecker Books Please note that there may be certain orders that we are unable to accept and must be cancelled. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse or cancel any order for any reason. Some situations that may result in your order being cancelled include limitations on quantities available for purchase, inaccuracies or errors in book or pricing information, or problems identified by our credit and fraud avoidance department. We may also require additional verifications or information before accepting any order. We will inform you if all or any portion of your order is cancelled or if additional information is required to accept your order. If your order is cancelled after your bank/credit/debit card/UPI/PAYTM/Wallet has been charged, the said amount will be refunded/credited back in your Account, in the same means as the payment has been made. We will seek authorization on your Card for the aggregate amount of the order placed by you, however, we may charge your card (capture) only with the amount corresponding to the actual portion of the order that we are able/willing to fulfil, and any associated shipping charges/taxes and levies, etc. Any surplus amount, for which we might have originally sought and received an authorization on your card from your Card Issuer, if not captured by us in the time period stipulated by our Merchant Banker, will not be captured/charged. If, however, the same is charged to your card/bank account in error, we will refund it as soon as the same is realised by us or brought to our notice, whichever is sooner. Woodpecker Books reserves the right to capture/charge your card to the full or partial authorised amount for the concerned order. Woodpecker Books has a right to cancel orders in cases where there is a malfunction/corruption of the software & system, and in such cases, the amount received from your side will be refunded in full.

Returns/Exchange through Courier Collection

Please note that books once sold and delivered are not returnable. However, we will exchange a title received in a damaged condition with a fresh copy against the original packing/receipt of the order. We will arrange for the pickup through our courier once we receive such advice, at our cost.
